What is Celebrate Recovery?
Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a ministry for hurting people who are on a journey toward wholeness; seeking recovery from and celebrating God’s healing of life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Leaders provide safe, confidential, Christ-centered support where people can grow.
Who benefits from Celebrate Recovery?
Anyone who struggles with hurts, habits and hang-ups can benefit from CR. Do you struggle with a particular issue that seems to have such strength and power over you that it has prevented you from experiencing any real victory? Have you been secretly hoping for a safe place to share your struggles and begin healing? CR is for you!
Hurts, Habits and Hang-ups?
You may be thinking that recovery is only for those with alcohol or drug problems. This could not be further from the truth. A hurt, habit or hang-up is anything that hinders your walk with God, including:
- Abuse—Physical, Sexual, Emotional
- Dysfunctional Families
- Alcohol Dependency
- Chemical Dependency
- Drug Dependency
- Eating Disorders
- Food Addictions
- Loss of Relationship
- Nicotine Dependency
- Obsessive-Compulsive Behavior
- Relationship Addiction
- Sexual Addiction
Is there childcare available?
YES!! FBC provides Blueprint for kids ages 3 years to 5th grade and Advance Student Ministries for students 6th-12th grade on Wednesdays. Both coincide with the school schedule and both meet at FBC’s South Campus ( 940 W Oak St.)
FBC CR is committed to providing a safe environment for recovery. Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements of our ministry. We are an adult (ages 18+) recovery ministry.
