Mission Ignition

Mission Ignition is an incredible experience designed specifically for kids in 1st through 5th grade. During this event, they will have the opportunity to learn about the many different ways THEY can get involved in missions. Not only will they gain knowledge, but they will also be challenged to take action and do missions once they return home.
Our church bus will be departing from the South Campus at 8am, headed to South Tulsa Baptist Church located at 10310 S Sheridan Rd, Tulsa, OK. The event will run from 9am to 3pm, and rest assured, lunch will be provided. We anticipate returning to the South Campus by 4pm, if not sooner. We are incredibly excited and can’t wait to embark on this mission-filled adventure together!
We are so proud to share that Skiatook First Kids have consistently achieved the Platinum Level Award, which is the highest honor, for the Mission Challenge every year since 2017! We strongly encourage all children to embrace this challenge and discover the joy of participating in missions. As the scripture in Acts 1:8 says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
