January 1, 2016 truly was a “new year” for Landon Warren. Not only did he start his new ministry as Pastor of Student Ministries at FBC Skiatook, but he and his new wife (as of 6/2015), Amy, will be setting up a new home with their new puppy, Junie B. Landon says he is ready for the new challenge!
Born in Clinton, OK, Landon received his early education at Sentinel High School. From there he went to Independence Community College in Independence, KS, Redlands Community College in El Reno, OK, and Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK where he graduated in 2014 with a BA degree. In August 2014 he began pursuing an MDiv degree through Rockbridge Seminary in Springfield, MO.
In addition to his ministry at Skiatook, Landon has served as Student Pastor at FBC Arapaho, OK.
Some of his favorite quotes come from missionary Jim Elliot:
“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.”
“Forgive me for being so ordinary while claiming to know such an extraordinary God.”
“Let me not be a milepost on a single road; make me a fork that men must turn one way or another on facing Christ in me.”
