Heath Tucker became the Lead Pastor of FBC Skiatook in August of 2015, bringing a with him a growing family. He and wife, Randi, are the proud parents of Evan (7), Ali (5), Kathryn (2), Gemma (1) and are expecting Addilyn in March of 2016. A native of southwest Oklahoma, Heath was born in Lawton, raised in Indiahoma, received a BA in mathematics from Cameron Univeristy in Lawton (2005), and was pastoring in Sentinel, OK when called to Skiatook. Heath also earned a Master of Ministry Leadership from Rockbridge Seminary (2009) and is currently working on an MDiv from Rockbridge. He was also a middle school math teacher for one year in Walters, OK.
Heath is a strong biblcal expositor who believes the Bible points men to Jesus from Genesis to Revelation. As such he has a passion for evangelism. His heart is to reach the world by ministering to their needs and opening the door to sharing the Gospel. In his first 6 months at Skiatook the church has exceeded their baptisms total for the past two years…and two of those were his own children!
His favorite quote echoes his belief in the call of God on every man. “Deep in his heart, every man longs for a battle to fight, an adventure to live and a beauty to rescue. That is how he bears the image of God; that is what God made him to be.” (John Eldredge “Wild at Heart”)
