Sheree Jordan serves FBC Skiatook as the Director of Children’s Ministries, joining the staff in July of 2003. She has been active in preschool work for 28 years with 18 of those invested in Weekday Early Education. She has a Child Development Associates accreditation and has served on the CWE Board of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma for the past 9 years. Sheree coordinates FBC Skiatook’s preschool, childcare and children’s ministries as well as their weekday J.O.Y. Preschool and Kindergarten.
Sheree was born and raised in Tulsa, where she grew up in the ministry of Harvard Avenue Baptist Church. A Tulsa Rogers Roper, she met her husband, Judd, in the Tulsa Rogers marching band. She and Judd have been married for 35 years. Judd is in the HVAC business and serves as a deacon, Sunday School teacher and member of the praise ensemble at FBC. They have three sons: Jesse and wife Janae (expecting in March 2016); Jacob, engaged to be married; and Jarad and his wife Sarah who have already blessed Sheree and Judd with 2 precious grandkids, Greenly and Dexter.
Sheree’s life objective is “To live my life in a way that will bring honor and glory to God” and her favorite Bible verses back that up. Romans 8:31, “If God be for us, who can be against us;” Matthew 19:26, “With God all things are possible;” and 3 John 1:4, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” She carries on the legacy of the people who had a strong influence on her life, like Karen Baker (youth S.S. teacher), Loretta Shideler (youth leader) and Debra Presley (a Colleague at Winnetka Heights Christian School).
HOBBIES: Sheree enjoys hunting, skeet shooting, family get togethers and collecting family treasures and heirlooms
FAVORITE MOVIE / TV SHOW: Her favorite TV show is NCIS and she is a fan of the classics, The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz.

FAVORITE BOOKS/AUTHORS: Sheree enjoys Beth Moore, the devotional writings of Sheri Rose Shepherd and the “Jesus Calling” series by Sarah Young.
